An anonymous stencil artist Duppy, who has a community following of 9,000 people on instagram. Sold his artwork “confused monkeys” this month to a top art collector for 1,300$. In which he stated “I was just happy to sell one of my works for above a thousand.” But the artist had no idea his work would find itself selling for 40,000x the amount originally bought.
