A piece of art which has been on a pillar under a bridge for over a decade appears like its about to be destroyed. I have admired this piece for ages but over the last few years grime and muck have obscured it. Recently some one has started painting the pillars right upto the point of painting the corner of it. I think I know the artist who I'm going to contact to confirm if it theirs and what thier wishes are. But here's the dilemma if it not theirs and I can't figure out whi the artist is, do I rescue it by removing it or do I leave it to fade into the environment? Would hate to see it just gone, what would you do?
